Congratulations on a job well done! I'm particularly impressed with Cassandra and Tugger (although I think you're right Tricia and Cassie is a sphynx. But the expression on that cat is perfect, so it doesn't really matter, lol.) And LOL at the Rumpus cat.

Glad you like 'em! And to those who think Cassandra is a sphynx: Consider this... Interesting theory, but look at those things....Cassy is beautiful, but the sphynx looks like a cross between a naked-mole rat and one of those ugly little pig-nose bats. Other possible cat breeds for Cassandra include the Abbysinian, Siamese, Burmese and Havana Brown.

You believe that, too Pippin? Some people may find these cats disgusting or ugly for they have no fur but I have a spin for these big eyes and ears anyhow. And everytime I see such a cat I get the feeling to cuddle him, holding it warm ... However, Cassy and sphynxs have their own beauty in my eyes

I don't know where I heard it first, but for some reason I did think that. She also has the line in the video version 'Were you there when the pharoas commissioned the sphinx', so I figured she was some sort of Egyptian cat XD. Perhaps she is one of the others that Roach mentioned? *is not too sure about her cat breeds*
And I have to agree with Roach on the 'naked mole rat thing'. Cats should have hair....they just should, lol.

I thought the mention of the spinx was another reference to being a cat more then it was a hint to Cassandra's breed. Like Tricia mentioned, sphynx's have very large ears. Cassy has teeny little round ears. She's also pretty (face it: very few and far between find sphynxs asthetically pleasing). Here's some other breeds she may be: Abbyssinian: Thought to be the oldest breed of cat. [lower left-hand corner]. Havana Brown [uper left-hand corner]: Exquisite, sleek brown cat. I think this is a very possible candidate for Cassy's mystery breed. Burmese: A petite cat that comes in many other colors besides chocolate. [upper right-hand corner] Siamese: [lower right-hand corner] Many believe Cassandra is an opposite-colored Siamese. It's possible, and it would make her a very rare and valuable cat, hence her snooty personality. My reason for making her a jaguarundi was this: 1) I couldn't find any domestic cat matches that would fit her perfectly and 2) those trademark little round ears. Jaguarundi's are also long, sleek cats. A feline is a feline after all, so why not make her an exotic cat? *** Tricia, I lol'd at your sig XD

Wonder what Human Liz looks like? Check her out with a cute 'lil Misto kitty! Liz and MistoffeleesDone very quickly with sharpies and #2 pencil. I had an anime relapse. It won't happen again (perhaps). I tried to make her wardrobe somewhat match her cat colors. BG added with GIMP.

Awww, Liz and Misto are soo cute! Great picture! I wish I could draw anime style at all XD. My brother is really good at it.
As to the Cassandra issue, I think the pictures you have of the Burmese and Havanah brown might be the best candidates based on her film picture, although I do agree, I think the jaguarundi captured her the best.

I'm trying to wean myself off of anime (this is my 400th attempt at trying to get off the stuff). Next pic of Liz will be more realistic. Yeah, as much as I try to compare Cassy to other cat breeds, nothing fits her like the Jaguarundi! -------------------------------------------- NEW ARTZ!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!These next four pics may look like something out of the Twilight Zone, and may even cause a few nightmares, but I think they're cool either way. It's four of the film actors (Jason Gardiner, John Partridge, Michael Gruber and Jacob Brent) as their characters as REAL cats. When drawing these, I did not use ref pics of real cats, but of the actors themselves. So...they're basically cats with the actors' faces on them ....like I said, creepy, but interesting....(WARNING: I try drawing my animal anatomy as realistic as possible. This means, in two of the pics, you can tell that they are in fact TOM cats). All done with sharpies and colored pencils. ]**** John Partridge as The Rum Tum Tugger as a CatMicheal Gruber as Munkustrap as a CatJacob Brent as Mistoffelees as a Cat]**** Jason Gardiner as Alonzo as a Cat

Amazing!!!!!!!! As per usual, of course . I love the expression on Alonzo's face, I think you captured Jason Gardiner (and the cat form itself) quite beautifully. Same goes for John Partridge and Tugger. The other two my computer is being stupid and won't load full size right now XP.

Woohoo! I can see them! I can see them! And they are very nicely done, lol, just like the other two. I agree, Tricia, Munkustrap was very well done. I love the way you did the striping/coloration in that one Roach.
